The NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF) was established in 1973 by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). NEF is an IRS 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which means all donations are deductible as a charitable donation. The Board of Trustees governs the Foundation.
Since its inception, NEF has focused on construction education and offers a number of certification programs in partnership with Clemson University. NEF is proud to be named a Quality Education Provider by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).
In addition, the Foundation has developed several programs and competitions created to foster and promote construction as a viable career choice among students from grade school to high school level.
The NEF Executive Office is located in Clemson, SC where the Foundation has a partnership with Clemson University's Center for the Improvement of Construction Management and Processes.

K-12 Programs
The NAWIC Education Foundation K-12 educational programs are designed to make students aware of the rewarding career opportunities available to them in the construction industry.
